INTERVIEW: FREYA

When and How did you get scouted by PRM? What was your reaction? Almost 2 years ago when I was walking into town with my younger brother. I was very surprised, thought it was a joke at first!
What did you like first about modelling? Being able to dress up in creative outfits and meeting new people. What was your first job as a model? How did it go? It was a shoot with a photographer called Alexei Izmaylov for an online magazine. It went well! I was quite overwhelmed with it all and look like a deer in the headlights in the photos.
What are your favourite experiences so far? (Editorial/Campaign/Show/etc..) Modelling and living in Tokyo for 2 months has to be my favourite, I fell in love with the city. Also i shot a campaign for Camper and it was definitely the most crazy shoot i've done! They painted me to turn me into a real life painting. Also one of my favourite shoots was an editorial for material girl mag, because i loved the styling and I felt truly myself in the pictures.
What is for you the best thing about being a model? Getting to travel and meet new interesting people.
What was the best place you've been for a shoot? Chiba in Japan! It's a beautiful place with hardly any people living there and we shot on the beach all day. What Brand/Photographer/Designer would you love to work with in the future? Burberry or Gucci would be a dream to work with!
What Movie/Artist/Tv-shows are you hooked on at the moment? Recently re-watched lots of Studio Ghibli films including the newest When Marine was there, suuuch a beautiful film! My favourite band at the moment is probably The Garden 😻 Is there any place/country you would love to go in particular? Back to Japan! And i'd like to visit some cities in Scandinavia. What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a model? Make sure you are mentally strong and confident enough to take knock backs.
